The wish of the client was to design an original interior of the restaurant which could be used to build own restaurant’s chains, which would be memorable and still flexible. The task was to create the interior that would match the refinement of the traditional Czech gastronomy and the quality of Czech beer.
An inspiration comes from czech beer culture where we use in humourous way stylized beer boxes, made by using 3D CNC milling cutter. These boxes cover the wall and the front of the bar. Dark yelow glass partitions mimic the beautiful color of the beer and the plastic circles in the glass refers to the typical beer glass. They gives to the space warm touch and are the artistic element of the interior. They are hand made by local manufacturer.
Although the overall appearance of the space is minimalistic, the cozy mood is achieved by a number of traditional craftsmanship and the use of natural materials such as wood, leather, steel, terraco and handmade glass. Intentional minimalistic look allows the gastronomic brilliance of the local cuisine to excel. Interior colors comes from the materials used. When visiting the restaurant, you will experience a unique atmosphere denying the boundaries between architecture and gastronomy.
