We have created the architectural concept of the new branch network ERA FC, which will be applied by ČSOB throughout the Czech Republic in the next years.
The space is designed in the spirit of a significant diferentiation from the typical interior of bank branches across all banking institutions. An original concept, offering customers advanced level of services using modern technologies in banking, gives the new experience of the bank space.
Graphic concept is based on the presence of natural mateterials and organic forms inspiraed by nature. Application of natural materials, wooden timbers, wowen fooring and organically shaped furniture elements create an atmosphere where client feels no pressure and which is relaxing and inspiring.
Space is organically shaped with linear and vertical walls and columns. Structure of lines is made up of small wooden timbers of size 20x50mm and their direction and rotation indicates dynamic of the space. The endings of wooden timbers are cut straight to create the illusion that the entire area has tailored style.
The arrangement of the bank office is divided so that the customer can approach the area quite intuitively and independently. Customer can follow lamellar wooden wall that divide the space. This creates a natural navigation and the client is guided intuitively. Bank space offer to the customers in a total five specialized areas, placed in in chronological order as customer goes through.
We did not apply the classical approach, where a banker sits behind a desk and between him and the client is a barrier. We used original furniture arrangement and the individual zones with banker always at hand, but still due to organically shaped ribbons we protected clients privacy.
Organically shaped solitaire is made of white Corian Glacier White. We used white design to give lightweight feel of the furniture and to achieve the illusion that it is created from paper.
The interior uses wooden light ARBO that was designed by our studio for HALLA company in 2013.
